Quality Dental Care for Children and Young Adults
We start seeing patients from the time they are 1 or 2 years old and stay with them through college. At Magic Smiles, we’re proud to offer comprehensive treatment, kids teeth cleaning, and excellent care.
A child’s first dental experience can make or break their attitude toward dentistry — for the rest of their life.
We’re excited about offering quality kids dental care for children and young adults!
Kids’ Dental Care
We care for young patients by treating issues, preforming kids teeth cleaning, and teaching good oral care, so that when they are adults they have fewer problems. Our young patients receive the same kind of care as adults, only with an eye toward the issues of childhood.
Special Needs
We know that going to the dentist can be a scary experience for children, and we know it’s compounded for children who cannot communicate their fears with words. We want our parents with children who have special needs to know that our experienced team has special training in managing sensory and autism needs. We offer “play dates” to decrease anxiety and encourage positive interaction with our office.
Sedation Dentistry
Sometimes little ones present complicated cases that require a more difficult procedure, so we offer the option to do treatment in our office under IV sedation for patients who meet certain criteria. This allows your child to receive the necessary treatment which is performed while the child is completely asleep. Magic Smiles provides a comfortable and convenient in-office IV sedation experience for patients and their families. Your dental benefits will be verified for coverage before scheduling the procedure.
Comprehensive Treatment
Magic Smiles is a digital office. We use digital to keep track of all of our patients and their needs. We also use elite digital x-rays including in-house panoramic x-rays which are said to be 90% safer than traditional x-rays. So, not only is our office more efficient than most dental practices, we’re also a safer environment. From kids teeth cleaning to more in-depth dental treatment, we’re here every step of the way.
Your “Peek-A-Boo” Visit
Let the first tooth, which will surface between six and twelve months, remind you that it’s time to see your child’s dentist. This is the advice of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Though this may seem early, 40% of toddlers between two and three have some inflammation of the gums and/or cavities. We will be happy to give you advice on tooth cleaning, pacifiers, fluoride, and preventing tooth injuries for young walkers.
